Full-scale tractor in Christmas lights to attend Market Weighton Switch On Event
7th December at 6pm

Andrew Wilkinson who farms near Pocklington in East Yorkshire said it took him “a good couple of months of evenings
and weekends to build it and additional four full days to wire the lights on”.

The metal sculpture is covered in 6,000 LEDs, more than a mile of wiring and 4,000 cable ties were used to attach it all.
Mr Wilkinson said the spectacle is “a dedication to all the farmers out there past and present” and especially to his late father David Wilkinson.

Andrew’s father had cancer and so Andrew wants to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research with the attention the light display has attracted.

You can support his fundraising on 7th December at the Market Weighton Christmas Tree Switch On, where the tractor will be on show down the High Street
